Finding a Good Church

As a result of a continuous flow of emails, concerning the very difficult process of finding a “good church” in America and around the world, I have added a new section to Bible Bulletin Board (BBB), which is a listing of churches, that visitors of BBB have recommended as Christ-honoring, Biblically-based fellowships, in their area.

To recommend a church that you are familiar with, simply send an email to tony@biblebb.com  and include the following:

1. Name of the Church    2. Denomination (if any)    3. Address, to include zip code.    4. Website address (if applicable)    5. Telephone number    6. Senior Pastor’s name

In recommending a church, I would ask that you only recommend those that would be able to:

1. Agree with our Statement of Faith, which is a copy of the Doctrinal Statement of Grace Community Church (John MacArthur’s home church).  If there are any exceptions to the above Statement of Faith, then please let me know, for I realize that many churches are in transition, trying to develop a more Biblical Statement of Faith.

2. Affirm that they are not a Charismatic/Pentecostal church or any other church that may have serious doctrinal errors or involvement in any of the “Seeker-Friendly” models of ministry, such as the Purpose Driven Church. 

3. Provide a very brief explanation of their gospel message, i.e., "What a person must do in order to be saved."

If, at any time, someone attends one of these churches and feels that it should not be on this list due to not meeting the basic requirements listed above, or for some other reason, then please email me with your concerns.
