ANTICHRIST

MAT 24:5  For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and 
will deceive many.

23  At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 
'There he is!' do not believe it.

24  For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great 
signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible.

26  "So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go 
out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it.

MAR 13:6  Many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and will deceive 
many.

21  At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 
'Look, there he is!' do not believe it.

22  For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and 
miracles to deceive the elect--if that were possible.

LUK 21:8  He replied: "Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will 
come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and, 'The time is near.' Do not 
follow them.

2TH 2:3  Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not 
come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the 
man doomed to destruction.

4  He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God 
or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming 
himself to be God.

5  Don't you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these 
things?

6  And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at 
the proper time.

7  For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who 
now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.

8  And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will 
overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his 
coming.

9  The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of 
Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders,

10  and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They 
perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

11  For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will 
believe the lie

12  and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but 
have delighted in wickedness.

1JO 2:18  Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that 
the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how 
we know it is the last hour.

22  Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. 
Such a man is the antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son.

4:3  but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This 
is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even 
now is already in the world.

2JO 1:7  Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in 
the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver 
and the antichrist.

REV 19:20  But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who 
had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had 
deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his 
image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning 
sulfur.

20:10  And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of 
burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They 
will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

15  If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was 
thrown into the lake of fire.
