DEU 15:7  If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the towns of 
the land that the LORD your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or 
tightfisted toward your poor brother.

8  Rather be openhanded and freely lend him whatever he needs.

11  There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you 
to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your 
land.

16:17  Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the LORD your 
God has blessed you.

PSA 41:1  Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the LORD delivers him 
in times of trouble.

PRO 3:9  Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your 
crops;

11:24  One man gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, 
but comes to poverty.

25  A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be 
refreshed.

13:7  One man pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be 
poor, yet has great wealth.

14:21  He who despises his neighbor sins, but blessed is he who is kind to 
the needy.

19:17  He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him 
for what he has done.

21:26  All day long he craves for more, but the righteous give without 
sparing.

22:9  A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with 
the poor.

28:27  He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his 
eyes to them receives many curses.

31:20  She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.

ECC 11:1  Cast your bread upon the waters, for after many days you will 
find it again.

ISA 32:8  But the noble man makes noble plans, and by noble deeds he 
stands.

MAL 3:10  Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food 
in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will 
not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that 
you will not have room enough for it.

MAT 6:1  "Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to 
be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in 
heaven.

2  "So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the 
hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I 
tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.

3  But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your 
right hand is doing,

4  so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is 
done in secret, will reward you.

19:21  Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your 
possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. 
Then come, follow me."

LUK 3:11  John answered, "The man with two tunics should share with him who 
has none, and the one who has food should do the same."

6:38  Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, 
shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with 
the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

11:41  But give what is inside the dish to the poor, and everything will be 
clean for you.

42  "Woe to you Pharisees, because you give God a tenth of your mint, rue 
and all other kinds of garden herbs, but you neglect justice and the love 
of God. You should have practiced the latter without leaving the former 
undone.

12:33  Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for 
yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be 
exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.

34  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

ACT 20:35  In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work 
we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 
'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

ROM 12:13  Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

1CO 13:3  If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the 
flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

16:2  On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a 
sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come 
no collections will have to be made.

2CO 8:14  At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so 
that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. Then there will be 
equality,

9:6  Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and 
whoever sows generously will also reap generously.

7  Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not 
reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

EPH 4:28  He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, 
doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to 
share with those in need.

1TI 5:8  If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for 
his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an 
unbeliever.

16  If any woman who is a believer has widows in her family, she should 
help them and not let the church be burdened with them, so that the church 
can help those widows who are really in need.

6:17  Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant 
nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their 
hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.

1JO 3:17  If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need 
but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?

18  Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions 
and in truth.
