subverting our nation. He opposes payment of taxes to Caesar and claims to 
be Christ, a king."

23  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in

8:1  Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ

39  neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be 
able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

9:5  Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry

6  And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, "Let 
all God's angels worship him."

2:10  In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and 
through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation 
perfect through suffering.

3:1  Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your 
thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess.

4:14  Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the 
heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.

6:20  where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has 
become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

7:17  For it is declared: "You are a priest forever, in the order of 
Melchizedek."

22  Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better 
covenant.

8:2  and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the 
Lord, not by man.

12:2  Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, 
who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and 
sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

13:8  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

20  May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant 
brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the 
sheep,

JAM 2:1  My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don't 
show favoritism.

1PE 2:4  As you come to him, the living Stone--rejected by men but chosen 
by God and precious to him--

6  For in Scripture it says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and 
precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to 
shame."

8  and, "A stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them 
fall." They stumble because they disobey the message--which is also what 
they were destined for.

25  For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the 
Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

5:4  And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of 
glory that will never fade away.

10  And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in 
Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you 
and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

14  Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace to all of you who are in 
Christ.

2PE 1:1  Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who 
through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received 
a faith as precious as ours:

11  and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our 
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

19  And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do 
well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until 
the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

3:18  But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus 
Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

1JO 1:1  That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we 
have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have 
touched--this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.

7  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship 
with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all 
sin.

2:1  My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if 
anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense--
Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

2  He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also 
for the sins of the whole world.

4:14  And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be 
the Savior of the world.

5:20  We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us 
understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who 
is true--even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

2JO 1:3  Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, 
the Father's Son, will be with us in truth and love.

JUD 1:25  to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and 
authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and 
forevermore! Amen.

REV 1:4  John, To the seven churches in the province of Asia: Grace and 
peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the 
seven spirits before his throne,

5  and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from 
the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and 
has freed us from our sins by his blood,

8  "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, 
and who is to come, the Almighty."

17  When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his 
right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.

2:8  "To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of 
him who is the First and the Last, who died and came to life again.

3:14  "To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of 
the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God's creation.

5:5  Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the 
tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the 
scroll and its seven seals."

6  Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the 
center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the 
elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of 
God sent out into all the earth.

8  And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four 
elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding 
golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

6:16  They called to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us 
from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

7:9  After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no 
one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing 
before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes 
and were holding palm branches in their hands.

10  And they cried out in a loud voice: "Salvation belongs to our God, who 
sits on the throne, and to the Lamb."

17  For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he 
will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every 
tear from their eyes."

12:11  They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their 
testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

13  When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued 
the woman who had given birth to the male child.

13:8  All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast--all whose names 
have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was 
slain from the creation of the world.

11  Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns 
like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon.

14:1  Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount 
Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written 
on their foreheads.

4  These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept 
themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased 
from among men and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb.

15:3  and sang the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the 
Lamb: "Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true 
are your ways, King of the ages.

17:14  They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them 
because he is Lord of lords and King of kings--and with him will be his 
called, chosen and faithful followers."

19:7  Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the 
Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

9  Then the angel said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are invited to 
the wedding supper of the Lamb!'" And he added, "These are the true words 
of God."

11  I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose 
rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war.

13  He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of 
God.

16  On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS 
AND LORD OF LORDS.

21:9  One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven 
last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the 
wife of the Lamb."

14  The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names 
of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

22  I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and 
the Lamb are its temple.

23  The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the 
glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

27  Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is 
shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's 
book of life.

22:13  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning 
and the End.

16  "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the 
churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning 
Star."
