JER 13:23  Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard its spots? 
Neither can you do good who are accustomed to doing evil.

17:13  O LORD, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you will be put to 
shame. Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust because 
they have forsaken the LORD, the spring of living water.

14  Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for 
you are the one I praise.

24:7  I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD. They will be 
my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all 
their heart.

EZE 11:19  I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in

3  He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" I said, "O Sovereign 
LORD, you alone know."

4  Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry 
bones, hear the word of the LORD!

5  This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath 
enter you, and you will come to life.

6  I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you 
with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you 
will know that I am the LORD.'"

7  So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was 
a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.

8  I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, 
but there was no breath in them.

9  Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and 
say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, 
O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.'"

10  So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came 
to life and stood up on their feet--a vast army.

11  Then he said to me: "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of 
Israel. They say, 'Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut 
off.'

12  Therefore prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD 
says: O my people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from 
them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel.

13  Then you, my people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your 
graves and bring you up from them.

14  I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in 
your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have 
done it, declares the LORD.'"

44:7  In addition to all your other detestable practices, you brought 
foreigners uncircumcised in heart and flesh into my sanctuary, desecrating 
my temple while you offered me food, fat and blood, and you broke my 
covenant.

9  This is what the Sovereign LORD says: No foreigner uncircumcised in 
heart and flesh is to enter my sanctuary, not even the foreigners who live 
among the Israelites.

ZEC 12:10  "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants 
of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the 
one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an 
only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.

MAT 12:33  "Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad 
and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.

34  You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For 
out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.

35  The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and 
the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.

43  "When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places 
seeking rest and does not find it.

44  Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.' When it arrives, it 
finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order.

13:23  But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man 
who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a 
hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown."

33  He told them still another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like 
yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it 
worked all through the dough."

18:3  And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like 
little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

MAR 4:26  He also said, "This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man 
scatters seed on the ground.

27  Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and 
grows, though he does not know how.

28  All by itself the soil produces grain--first the stalk, then the head, 
then the full kernel in the head.

29  As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the 
harvest has come."

LUK 1:16  Many of the people of Israel will he bring back to the Lord their 
God.

17  And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, 
to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to 
the wisdom of the righteous--to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."

8:35  and the people went out to see what had happened. When they came to 
Jesus, they found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at 
Jesus' feet, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.

38  The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go with him, but 
Jesus sent him away, saying,

39  "Return home and tell how much God has done for you." So the man went 
away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him.

JOH 1:4  In him was life, and that life was the light of men.

13  children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a 
husband's will, but born of God.

16  From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after 
another.

3:3  In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the 
kingdom of God unless he is born again."

4  "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he 
cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!"

5  Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of 
God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.

6  Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

7  You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.'

8  The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot 
tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born 
of the Spirit."

4:10  Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that 
asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you 
living water."

14  but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the 
water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal 
life."

5:24  "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who 
sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over 
from death to life.

47  But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to 
believe what I say?"

6:44  "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I 
will raise him up at the last day.

45  It is written in the Prophets: 'They will all be taught by God.' 
Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me.

50  But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which a man may eat 
and not die.

51  I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of 
this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give 
for the life of the world."

57  Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so 
the one who feeds on me will live because of me.

8:12  When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the 
world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the 
light of life."

36  So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

10:9  I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come 
in and go out, and find pasture.

10  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that 
they may have life, and have it to the full.

13:8  "No," said Peter, "you shall never wash my feet." Jesus answered, 
"Unless I wash you, you have no part with me."

15:1  "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.

17:2  For you granted him authority over all people that he might give 
eternal life to all those you have given him.

ACT 2:38  Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the 
name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive 
the gift of the Holy Spirit.

47  praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord 
added to their number daily those who were being saved.

3:26  When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you 
by turning each of you from your wicked ways."

9:3  As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven 
flashed around him.

4  He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, "Saul, Saul, why do 
you persecute me?"

5  "Who are you, Lord?" Saul asked. "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," 
he replied.

6  "Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must 
do."

7  The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless; they heard the sound 
but did not see anyone.

8  Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see 
nothing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus.

9  For three days he was blind, and did not eat or drink anything.

10  In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him 
in a vision, "Ananias!" "Yes, Lord," he answered.

11  The Lord told him, "Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask 
for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying.

12  In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on 
him to restore his sight."

13  "Lord," Ananias answered, "I have heard many reports about this man and 
all the harm he has done to your saints in Jerusalem.

14  And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest 
all who call on your name."

15  But the Lord said to Ananias, "Go! This man is my chosen instrument to 
carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of 
Israel.

16  I will show him how much he must suffer for my name."

17  Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on 
Saul, he said, "Brother Saul, the Lord--Jesus, who appeared to you on the 
road as you were coming here--has sent me so that you may see again and be 
filled with the Holy Spirit."

18  Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul's eyes, and he could 
see again. He got up and was baptized,

11:17  So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the 
Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?"

21  The Lord's hand was with them, and a great number of people believed 
and turned to the Lord.

15:9  He made no distinction between us and them, for he purified their 
hearts by faith.

16:14  One of those listening was a woman named Lydia, a dealer in purple 
cloth from the city of Thyatira, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord 
opened her heart to respond to Paul's message.

21:19  Paul greeted them and reported in detail what God had done among the 
Gentiles through his ministry.

26:18  to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from 
the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and 
a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'

ROM 2:28  A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is 
circumcision merely outward and physical.

29  No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is 
circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a 
man's praise is not from men, but from God.

6:3  Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus 
were baptized into his death?

4  We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order 
that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the 
Father, we too may live a new life.

5  If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will 
certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.

6  For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of 
sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin--

7  because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.

8  Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.

9  For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die 
again; death no longer has mastery over him.

10  The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, 
he lives to God.

11  In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in 
Christ Jesus.

12  Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its 
evil desires.

13  Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of 
wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been 
brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as 
instruments of righteousness.

14  For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but 
under grace.

15  What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? 
By no means!

16  Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as 
slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey--whether you are slaves to 
sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

17  But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you 
wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted.

18  You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to 
righteousness.

19  I put this in human terms because you are weak in your natural selves. 
Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and 
to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to 
righteousness leading to holiness.

20  When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of 
righteousness.

21  What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now 
ashamed of? Those things result in death!

22  But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to 
God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal 
life.

23  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in 
Christ Jesus our Lord.

7:6  But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from 
the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old 
way of the written code.

24  What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?

25  Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in 
my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the 
law of sin.

8:2  because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free 
from the law of sin and death.

3  For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the 
sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man 
to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man,

4  in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met 
in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the 
Spirit.

5  Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on 
what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit 
have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

6  The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit 
is life and peace;

9  You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, 
if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit 
of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.

13  For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by 
the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live,

14  because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

15  For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, 
but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."

16  The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's 
children.

12:2  Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be 
transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and 
approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

15:16  to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles with the priestly 
duty of proclaiming the gospel of God, so that the Gentiles might become an 
offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

1CO 1:9  God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ 
our Lord, is faithful.

24  but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the 
power of God and the wisdom of God.

30  It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for 
us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.

2:12  We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is 
from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.

14  The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from 
the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot 
understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15  The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is 
not subject to any man's judgment:

16  "For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?" But 
we have the mind of Christ.

3:6  I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow.

7  So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, 
who makes things grow.

9  For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.

6:11  And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were 
sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by 
the Spirit of our God.

12:6  There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of 
them in all men.

13  For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body--whether Jews or 
Greeks, slave or free--and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

15:10  But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not 
without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the 
grace of God that was with me.

2CO 1:21  Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He 
anointed us,

22  set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a 
deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

3:3  You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our 
ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not 
on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

18  And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being 
transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from 
the Lord, who is the Spirit.

4:6  For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light 
shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of 
God in the face of Christ.

5:5  Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us 
the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

17  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has 
gone, the new has come!

GAL 2:20  I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but 
Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son 
of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

4:29  At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born 
by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now.

6:15  Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts 
is a new creation.

EPH 2:1  As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,

5  made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it 
is by grace you have been saved.

6  And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly 
realms in Christ Jesus,

8  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from 
yourselves, it is the gift of God--

10  For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, 
which God prepared in advance for us to do.

4:7  But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.

8  This is why it says: "When he ascended on high, he led captives in his 
train and gave gifts to men."

16  From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting 
ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

21  Surely you heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the 
truth that is in Jesus.

22  You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off 
your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;

23  to be made new in the attitude of your minds;

24  and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true 
righteousness and holiness.

5:14  for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is 
said: "Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on 
you."

PHI 1:6  being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will 
carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

COL 2:11  In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the 
sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with 
the circumcision done by Christ,

12  having been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your 
faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.

13  When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your 
sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,

3:9  Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with 
its practices

10  and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in 
the image of its Creator.

2TH 2:13  But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the 
Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the 
sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth.

TIT 3:5  he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but 
because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and 
renewal by the Holy Spirit,

6  whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior,

HEB 4:1  Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, 
let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it.

2  For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as they did; but 
the message they heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did 
not combine it with faith.

3  Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said, "So I 
declared on oath in my anger, 'They shall never enter my rest.'" And yet 
his work has been finished since the creation of the world.

4  For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: "And 
on the seventh day God rested from all his work."

5  And again in the passage above he says, "They shall never enter my 
rest."

6  It still remains that some will enter that rest, and those who formerly 
had the gospel preached to them did not go in, because of their 
disobedience.

7  Therefore God again set a certain day, calling it Today, when a long 
time later he spoke through David, as was said before: "Today, if you hear 
his voice, do not harden your hearts."

8  For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about 
another day.

9  There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God;

10  for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as 
God did from his.

11  Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one 
will fall by following their example of disobedience.

12  For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged 
sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; 
it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

10:16  "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says 
the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on 
their minds."

17  Then he adds: "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more."

22  let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of 
faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience 
and having our bodies washed with pure water.

23  Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is 
faithful.

JAM 1:18  He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we 
might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

5:19  My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone 
should bring him back,

20  remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will 
save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.

1PE 1:2  who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the 
Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus 
Christ and sprinkling by his blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance.

3  Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great 
mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection 
of Jesus Christ from the dead,

22  Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you 
have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the 
heart.

23  For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of 
imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

2:3  now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.

9  But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people 
belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you 
out of darkness into his wonderful light.

2PE 1:3  His divine power has given us everything we need for life and 
godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and 
goodness.

4  Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so 
that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the 
corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

1JO 2:27  As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, 
and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you 
about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit--just as it 
has taught you, remain in him.

29  If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what 
is right has been born of him.

3:9  No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed 
remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.

4:7  Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. 
Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

5:1  Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and 
everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.

4  for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that 
has overcome the world, even our faith.

5  Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is 
the Son of God.

11  And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life 
is in his Son.

12  He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does 
not have life.

18  We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who 
was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him.
