Abiding [01]

What does it mean to "abide" in Christ?

Abiding [02] My question involves abiding in Christ, and it’s taken from 1 John 2:28. “And now, little children, abide in Him; so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming.” Now, I’ve been listening to your tapes on that, and, I believe, you say that ‘abide in Him is in the imperative there.’ So, that John is saying to the Christians, "You know, this is your responsibility. You are supposed to abide." And, that, you also say that no Christian will be ashamed. You know, we have confidence because Christians are abiding. That is their nature to abide. So, my question would really be, There seems to be a lot of Christians that do not really abide. And I’m surprised that there won’t be any type of: “I wish I had read the Bible more or built a closer relationship with Jesus Christ."
Abortion [01]

I’d like your comment on pregnant women who go to practitioners, that perform abortions, for their prenatal care and deliveries, please.

Abortion [02]

What is the Christian view of abortion and birth control?

Abortion [03] I was wondering, is a soul a soul, including a mind, intellect, and will, at the point of conception, and if so, what happens to babies that are aborted?
Abortion [04]
8/28/04
I saw Mary Tyler Moore the other day talk about stem-cell research. Mary Tyler Moore went to the Senate and asked about stem-cell research. And, I want to know what you think of it?
Age of Accountability What is the Scriptural basis for the "Age of Accountability" in regards to children's salvation?
Angels [01]

My question is from Exodus 3:2, "And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a blazing fire from the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burning with fire, yet the bush was not consumed." My question is, Why do some people say that the "angel of the Lord" is Jesus Christ?

Angels [02]

Now, my question is about Genesis 6:4-- I’m wondering, how you would fit the demons, cohabiting with women on earth, and could not that verse also mean that the sons of God would be godly men and the daughters of men would be ungodly women?

Angels [03]

The question’s out of I Corinthians, chapter 11, verse 10. Now, I’m not so sure how critical this is to anybody’s salvation or their sanctification, but let me read a few verses before to set the scene. I’ll start at verse 8, “For the man is not of the woman, but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman, but the woman for the man. For this cause ought the woman to have authority on her head because of the angels.” Now, here’s the question, “because of the angels”-what does that mean? “Because of the angels…”

Angels [04]

In Hebrews 1:14, it says, “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” Does this mean that the elect who have not yet come to know the Lord are being ministered by angels? And, if so, how do they minister to them? Since the Holy Spirit does not dwell in them, is this ministry to prepare their hearts and minds for the day they surrender to the Lord?

Angels [05] How can angels be sexless if they married with the daughters of men and produced monsters?
Angels [06] Do we have guardian angels?  What do angels do? What do they do on the behalf of a believer?
Angels [07]

Do angels and demons fight?

Anger

Please explain Ephesians 4:26-27, "Be ye angry and sin not. Let not the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil," 27.

Animals [01]

I have a young daughter (4 years old), we are Jewish, and we sent her to school in the Synagogue, and she asked  us at the evening meal, "Daddy, why do we eat the animals?"

Animals [02]

What is God’s plan for animals?

Apologetics

I recently have been studying apologetics and studied the "presuppositionalist" side and "evidentialist" side, and then I came across a book by Mark Hannah called Crucial Questions to Apologetics and he took a position called "verticalism," which made a lot of sense to me. But, I just wondered, what would your response be to a book like that, and also, how you came to your own personal convictions on an apologetics position?

Apostate

What is an apostate?

Apostles [01] What confuses me is that I have always understood that the Apostles were the twelve and Paul, and perhaps James. So what I find hard to reconcile here is that it says He appeared to all of the apostles, at least to the twelve, and then it mentions James and Paul specifically. But it also mentions that after He had appeared to all of those, except Paul, then to all of the apostles. Why would he mention extra apostles again there?
Apostles [02]

Regarding the apostles, we know that there were twelve. In Romans 16:7, where Paul sends his salutations. He said, "Salute Andronicus and Junias, my kinsmen, and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who were also in Christ before me." Now, does that mean they were apostles?

Appearance

Is appearance really everything?

Arminianism

Can you talk a little bit about Arminian theology? Is it biblical? And, if a church embraces that theology, are they saved? [Can somebody who holds an Arminian view be a Christian?]

Astrology [01] What is the biblical teaching on astrology?
Astrology [02] Today, how are we, as Christians, to view dreams and astrology?
Atonement [01]

My question is threefold, 1. How can the Bible be read to teach "Limited Atonement?" 2. How can the Bible be read to teach "Unlimited Atonement?"  3. What do you believe that it teaches and why?

Atonement [02]

Could you please explain Biblically for whom Christ died? And also, whether all of them that He died for will be saved?

Atonement [03]

Do you hold to "Limited Atonement"--that Jesus Christ did not suffer, substitutionarily, on the cross, for the sins of the whole world?

Atonement [04] Could you please clarify the extent of the atonement, limited versus unlimited?
Atonement [05]

I want to clarify this. Do you believe that Jesus Christ died for the sins of all men past, present, and future?
