Myself and some of my friends have been discussing for the last couple of
weeks, do I exercise faith as a result of the fact that I am regenerate or does
God regenerate me as a result of the fact that I exercise faith? |

| Faith [07] | Did God establish salvation on the basis of faith because of Adam and Eve’s lack of faith? |
| False Teachers [01] | I was talking to a friend today and his church is having a little controversy within the congregation about faith, and apparently some people are getting involved in a the very Charismatic type of thinking. Specifically it comes from Kenneth Copeland and he’s talking about, 'Well, it's kind of like, 'Let God and let go thinking,' and human responsibility has little to do to exercise your faith, you just trust God. I explained to him to look at what biblical faith was in Hebrews 11, in the fact that the patriarchs, for example, did things and their faith changed their behavior. I was wondering what might you suggest to tell him to help him along? |
| False Teachers [02] | We were having a discussion this morning on the occult. And, I wanted to know, if a Jehovah’s Witness came up to you and said that, that their religion was the right way, what would you say? |

False Teachers
[03] 8/28/04 |
You spoke a little about this morning regarding false teachers and money. You said on several occasions, more or less, that false teachers are basically always in it for the money, and that’s been a bit confusing to me, even though, I know the Biblical picture seems to always include that, but it seems there are examples of those that teach falsehood, but don’t appear to be driven by the financial gain involved. An example might be, Mahatma Gandhi, or ascetic Gnostics, or a number of others who, maybe are works related and working very hard to do what they do. They don’t seem to be in it for monetary gain, but they’re still teaching what is not true. |

| Forgiveness [02] |
Jay Adam's new book on forgiveness that came out in 1989 is in the Book Shack
[Grace Community Church's book store] . He clearly teaches in accordance with
Luke 17:3, “Be on your guard. If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he
repents, forgive him.” He teaches that you have to have a heart always for
forgiveness, yet there are many, many fine Christian theologians that take a
different point of view, their point of view being that forgiveness is there, it
is consummated just in my mind and it doesn’t need to be that the sinner come
and ask for forgiveness. Could you clarify this? |
