                                   RAMAH

JOS 18:25  Gibeon, Ramah, Beeroth,

JDG 19:13  He added, "Come, let's try to reach Gibeah or Ramah and spend 
the night in one of those places."

1KI 15:17  Baasha king of Israel went up against Judah and fortified Ramah 
to prevent anyone from leaving or entering the territory of Asa king of 
Judah.

1KI 15:18  Asa then took all the silver and gold that was left in the 
treasuries of the LORD'S temple and of his own palace. He entrusted it to 
his officials and sent them to Ben-Hadad son of Tabrimmon, the son of 
Hezion, the king of Aram, who was ruling in Damascus.

1KI 15:19  "Let there be a treaty between me and you," he said, "as there 
was between my father and your father. See, I am sending you a gift of 
silver and gold. Now break your treaty with Baasha king of Israel so he 
will withdraw from me."

1KI 15:20  Ben-Hadad agreed with King Asa and sent the commanders of his 
forces against the towns of Israel. He conquered Ijon, Dan, Abel Beth 
Maacah and all Kinnereth in addition to Naphtali.

1KI 15:21  When Baasha heard this, he stopped building Ramah and withdrew 
to Tirzah.

1KI 15:22  Then King Asa issued an order to all Judah--no one was 
exempt--and they carried away from Ramah the stones and timber Baasha had 
been using there. With them King Asa built up Geba in Benjamin, and also 
Mizpah.

2CH 16:1  In the thirty-sixth year of Asa's reign Baasha king of Israel 
went up against Judah and fortified Ramah to prevent anyone from leaving or 
entering the territory of Asa king of Judah.

2CH 16:2  Asa then took the silver and gold out of the treasuries of the 
LORD'S temple and of his own palace and sent it to Ben-Hadad king of Aram, 
who was ruling in Damascus.

2CH 16:3  "Let there be a treaty between me and you," he said, "as there

up Geba and Mizpah.

JER 31:15  This is what the LORD says: "A voice is heard in Ramah, mourning 
and great weeping, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be 
comforted, because her children are no more."

JER 40:1  The word came to Jeremiah from the LORD after Nebuzaradan 
commander of the imperial guard had released him at Ramah. He had found 
Jeremiah bound in chains among all the captives from Jerusalem and Judah 
who were being carried into exile to Babylon.

HOS 5:8  "Sound the trumpet in Gibeah, the horn in Ramah. Raise the battle 
cry in Beth Aven; lead on, O Benjamin.

MAT 2:18  "A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning, Rachel 
weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no 
more."
