Why is it Noah cursed Canaan because his father Ham saw him naked?

Answer

It is implied that Ham (The father of Canaan) looked upon his father's nakedness with some sort of sinful thought, perhaps simply making fun of his father and his drunkenness, which would be showing an utter lack of respect for him. Instead of covering him up to protect his dignity, he ran to tell his brothers, so that (maybe) they could also come and see the indignity, but they did not go along with that idea, rather they showed honor and respect and walked in backward (not to see their father's nakedness) and covered his shame.
